Today Dasom and I talked at length about her camping trip that she went on with CIES. At this point she seems very comfortable with me and is expressing herself in more lengthy responses using complete and complex sentence structure. This tutoring session we went over reduced forms. We went over many common occurrences in spoken language: wanna, gunna, ta, fer, ya, dunno, gotta, yer, etc. I explained to Dasom what word(s) were meant when she heard the spoken reduced forms and then practiced them with her.
