Chloe CP #6

For our sixth meeting, Fahd and I saw the new Fast and Furious movie. The Fast and the Furious franchise is very popular in Kuwait and other Arab countries, so Fahd has seen all the movies. He told me all his friends already watched it. From what Fahd has told me, most men in Kuwait love cars and are very knowledgeable about them. We ran into one of his classmates at the movies as well! We both enjoyed the movie- it was very fun to watch. It seemed like Fahd’s comprehension of the dialogue was very good. For example, he understood and laughed at almost all the jokes. I think the movie was a great choice. He was very engaged so he really listened, and it was good practice for him. In the car, we shared some music with each other. Fahd enjoys listening to American music, including rap which I enjoy too! Overall we had a fun time and Fahd was able to practice his English. I plan on continuing to see him over the summer!
