Vicky was a very bright, funny, and energetic teacher. She started the class by asking each student a question. Name 3 places you've visited. 2 things you hate/love. 2 places you've never been. Then she started dancing and asked the class to describe with adverbs how she was dancing. They called out "badly", "slowly", fastly", and "quickly". She corrected one student by crossing off the -ly and explaining the correct word was "fast" (one of the many exceptions in the English language). She then spoke about adverbs of frequency: always, usually, sometimes, occasionally, rarely, and never. For the next 15 minutes, we walked around the room and filled out a worksheet with questions, "How often do you _____?" Students practiced asking different questions and answering them like, "Sometimes I visit museums when I go to a new country". At the end of the class, she wrote on the board:

Overall, I thought Vicky was a great teacher and I enjoyed learning her teaching strategies.
