Conversation Partner #4 with Dasom

Since Saeed went out of town for break I needed to switch conversation partners yet again. Since Dasom and I do lots of conversation practice anyway it just made sense to have my remaining CP sessions with her. For a change of scenery from our normal meeting place (the patio of CIES) I took Dasom out to dinner at El Cocinero. She had only ever had tacos once in her life in Korea so I thought she should give them another go in a place closer to the foods origins. We had good casual conversation as usual. She was nervous to order food from the waiter but I encouraged her to go for it. She did it flawlessly, it was just a matter of lack of confidence to try, I was proud of her overcoming it.
She enjoyed the tacos!
