Tutoring Session (Child) #1: Observing PJ's current tutor Tuesday 3/07/17 6:30pm
My first Tutoring Session was only an observation of PJ and his current tutor.
They went over his homework, which was a multiple choice worksheet in one of his school books. The tutor asked him to read the questions and answers aloud. She helped him to critically analyze all of the possible answers and asked him comprehension questions getting him to think deeply about each question.
The tutor was good about keeping PJ focused on the task at and hand and gave him positive reinforcement all along the way.
