Listening, Level 2
Teacher Presentation:
Angel has a very good rapport with his class. He is jovial and warm and quick to joke with the class. He speaks clearly and loudly. He uses dynamic body language when explaining things to the class moving from one side of the room to the other often.
Classroom Management:
Angel took attendance, went over the agenda for the day's lessons, and then got started on the two listening activities. He did not assign homework since it was going to be Spring Break.

Student Participation:
The students in the class were mostly attentative and egnaged in the lesson, they responded to comprehension questions about the listening activities they were doing. At one point they even had a little back and forth about the content of one of the assignments where multiple students discussed their feeling about the effect of violent TV exposure on a child's propensity to perform violent acts.

Angel was very good about providing students with continuous positive reinforcement while still correcting any mistakes his students made; there were a few goodhearted jokes about mistakes made.

Lesson(s) on teaching you learned:
Having seen three different classes covering three different subjects with three different instructors the important commonalities I have discovered are: review of the class agenda is a good way to start the day. Be confident and kind and build good relationships with your students. Always ask comprehension questions of all students, including the quiet ones. Stay focused, these classes are short and students are easily distracted.
